Id give it more stars if the author didn't use the avaricious need to use cliff hangers to make readers want the next book. There are better ways, plus a weak live triangle distracts. One live interest is fine, but having the mc continuously make out with 2 his doesn't build romantic tension, it makes her fickle and she's supposed to be a smart and fierce fighter, not a hormonal teenager playing spin the wine bottle with and making out with every good looking piece of a$$. I'm debating about book 3. I enjoy the story line but im feeling the author is using poor tropes to make this more interesting and there's no need cuz the story can stand up without her making this character seem like a horny teenager and not a woman who successfully fought her addiction, got her magic back, fought for her life and the life of her friends and is transforming into a great warrior. This book is positively fantastic!!! Nightsoul is the 3rd installment in the Raven Cursed series and it does not disappoint!!!The Characters continue to evolve and the dynamics are absolutely fascinating. I really want to know more about Kai and I love his fascination with Erin's sister. I look forward to seeing where this may lead.I love Erin's determination, resilience and ability to constantly adapt and walk the tight rope that has become her life...I found all the revelations in this book to be epic Erin's life will be forever changed. I am excited to know more about these characters and developments as the series moves forward. Let me tell you Erin just keeps rolling with the punches and I just love this beautifully flawed yet strong and brave MC. She is constantly using her kickassery factor!I love the snark and wit between characters and even the internal unsaid dialog is entertaining and on point.Get ready for a roller-coaster ride because this book is action packed with a fast moving multi-player plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat! I also love that it keeps you guessing because you don't see the revelations coming and once revealed you are left thinking.... WHAT!!! MORE PLEASE!!!If you have not checked out this series you need too because it is a CAN'T PUT IT DOWN kinda series!!Start with book one though because there is a huge story-line and you don't want to miss any of the good stuff! This would be 10 stars if I could give them!!
